When you consider joining us, think about your character. What sort of person is he or she? Think about the background and what they would believe in. We are a good group of people, but not squeaky-clean!
Here's a few noteworthy characters that would have made the cut
Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean
Friar Tuck from Robin Hood
The Three Musketeers (All for one, and one for all and three, four five.)
Don Quixote from The Man of La Mancha
Puss-in-Boots from the self-titled story (also Shrek 2)
Shmendrick the Mage from The Last Unicorn
Gimli from The Lord of the Rings
The majority of the characters from The Princess Bride ('...you killed my father! Prepare to die!')
Madmartigan from Willow
Han Solo from Star Wars (sans blaster & Millenium Falcon)
We are primarily scoundrels, mercenaries, wanderers and misfits. We do have honor, but sometimes it's hard to tell. Our honor is determined by our hearts, not by the expectations of others. If we had to be classified as and alignment as per D&D we would be Chaotic Good with neutral tendencies.
If you are looking for a guild with a long and noble history, then I'm sorry, you're in the wrong place. Make sure to tip the barmaid on your way out.
Here's a few people that would NOT make the cut
King Arthur (Too noble.)
Sir Lancelot (WAY too noble.)
Elrond (Too Elfy and noble. Nothing against elves, but if you dance around in your fairy ring expect to get razzed. A lot.)
Drizzt Do'Urden (Nothing against him, but he's become a stereotype.)
Tanis Half-Elven (Too angsty and whiney and noble)
Elric of Melnibone (He's a bleeding psychopath)
Grey Mouser and Fafnir (too selfish -- on the "dark" side of rougish)
Jar-Jar Binks. (Duh.)
If you think that you are square peg in a round hole, and don't seem to fit into the Qeynos norm, then this might be the guild for you. See you in Norrath!
